Maternity photography is a new area for me and some research into how other photographers have tackled baby bumps only revealed very little innovation to help stir up more ideas to photograph! Here’s a little look-see at my very first baby bump shoot last week!
This beautiful bump belongs to my close friend Bex, a perfectly formed and surprisingly large bump in fact! Having been good friends with Bex and her husband Tim for many years it was easy to keep the shoot intimate yet creative and fun at the same time. Coupled with their stunning (nearly finished) home as a backdrop and the early evening sunlight made for lovely warm images showing a real tenderness between them. I feel very honoured to have had the opportunity to capture glimpses of their relationship’s true nature and the loving environment they’ve developed that eagerly awaits the new (now overdue) addition to their family!
